The Workshop
Located on the first floor of the music bookstore Le Croquenotes, a unique place entirely dedicated to music in the heart of downtown Toulouse, I tend to violins, violas, cellos and double basses for or belonging to musicians of all levels of practice, from beginners to professional musicians.
I make instruments inspired by the great Italian masters.
Stradivari, Amati, Guarneri, Gennaro, Goffriller... I offer you instruments of my own making, inspired by the great Italian masters of the 17th and 18th centuries.
In order to follow the sound evolution of my instruments with you, I carry out free of charge all the necessary adjustments to optimize them during two years, free of charge.
Do not hesitate to come and try them in my workshop.
If you want a particular model, a personalized varnish, a custom made, come and talk to me, I also work on order.
I restore your instruments
Do you have a damaged, broken or unusable instrument?
I can restore it back to life. I try to bring it as close as possible to its original state while respecting the aesthetics of the instrument and the ethics of the profession. A restored instrument can regain its original sound, or even sound better.
I maintain and repair
Every instrument needs regular maintenance (cleaning, greasing of pegs, re-gluing, varnish connections...).
In order to continue to enjoy your instrument fully, I advise you to have it checked once a year. Repairing it while the accidents or mishaps are still small allows to better preserve your instrument and reduce the cost of repairs.
You wish to modify, improve the sound of your instrument?
I make the adjustments with you in order to find the sound that suits you according to what you want to hear from your instrument. It is through my dialog with you and trying different settings that we will get the best results.
Sale of instruments and accessories
You will find in the workshop new and ancient study instruments as well as all the accessories related to the practice of your instrument (strings, cases, mutes, chinrest) from such brands Tomastik, Pirastro, D'Addario, Corelli, BAM, Gewa among others. I can also order the specific accessory you are looking for if I don't have it yet.
